Pieter Bruegel the Elder spent the last – particularly productive – years of his life in Brussels. The capital city inspired the Flemish master to paint absolute masterpieces like Winter Landscape with Ice-skaters and Bird-trap and The Peasant Wedding.

In 2019, 450 years after this death, Brussels salutes this master artist. The majestic Dynasty Building in the city centre will run an impressive multimedia exhibition, which delves into the life and work of the Flemish master. One eye catching aspect of the exhibition is without doubt the 360° projection that immerses you in the world of Bruegel. You walk, as it were, amidst the army-sized number of the character Dulle Griet, bob along on the ship at the foot of the Tower of Babel and meet the unique characters that emerged from his imagination.

I'd love to tell you more about it.

Baroque is not an artistic movement, it's a way of life.

Ask the other guides as well.
